Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the directory:
- Contact Form Submissions: When you contact a therapist through our site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), and message. This information is immediately forwarded to the therapist via secure, HIPAA-compliant email (Paubox). We retain only your initials in our activity log; we do not store your full contact details or message content.
- Therapist Profiles: Therapists who join our directory provide professional information including their name, credentials, and specialties.
- Basic Site Usage: We track anonymous page view counts. This data contains no personal identifiers.
How We Protect Your Information
- All contact form messages are transmitted via Paubox, a HIPAA-compliant email service
- We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- We do not retain copies of messages sent through contact forms
- Therapist accounts are protected by secure authentication
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for site functionality (such as maintaining login sessions for therapists accessing their dashboard). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
