My Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental and meeting each client where they are while simultaneously helping them move toward their goals. I believe change and growth happens when people feel seen, heard, and accepted right where they are. From there, we can work to build a life that is worth living. In our work together, we’ll focus on building practical skills, gaining insight, and creating changes that feel realistic and sustainable for your life. I value the strengths you already bring into the room and will support you in navigating challenges with more confidence, balance, and self-compassion. You don’t have to know exactly where you are going, you just need a safe space to be curious and open to what’s possible.

Who I Help Best

I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to move forward after difficult life experiences. Many of the clients I support are navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, intense emotions, relationship challenges, or major life transitions and are looking for tools that actually help, not just talk. Talking can be cathartic but often does not lead to long lasting change. I help clients who want to feel more in control of their emotions, build healthier coping skills, and create a life they see as worth living. Whether you’re healing from trauma, coping with loss, managing daily stress, or working toward personal growth, we’ll meet where you are and move forward at a pace that feels safe and supportive. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy. If you’re ready to feel understood, build resilience, and work toward a life worth living, you’re in the right place.

What a First Session Is Like

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. You do not know me and there is no expectation or pressure to share everything at once. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you’re hoping will change. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, and I’ll also explain how therapy works and what you can expect from our work together. We are in this together!
