My personal experiences with narcissistic abuse compelled me to learn everything I could about narcissism and how it effects others. Most importantly, I wanted to understand why some people get stuck in a cycle of narcissistic relationships and what they can do to break this cycle. I have over 15 years of clinical experience and established my private practice in 2017. I am licensed to practice in the states of Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina.
My Therapeutic Approach
I offer a trauma informed approach that integrates a combination of modalities tailored to meet each client's needs. Approaches I use include EMDR therapy, integrative parts work/ego state therapy, attachment based psychotherapy, CBT, and ACT.
Who I Help Best
Men and women who have experienced narcissistic or emotional abuse in their adult relationships or childhood. Most people I help struggle with not feeling good enough, setting boundaries, excessive people pleasing, repeated toxic relationships, self blame, and being overly empathetic.
What a First Session Is Like
The focus of the first session is to get to know each other and understand what your goals are for therapy. This session is about gathering information and you only need to share what you feel comfortable with. At the end of the session we will determine how often you'd benefit from therapy and which approach works best for you.
