About Xenia
License #: AP145642I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management and integrative mental health care. My approach blends traditional psychiatry with metabolic psychiatry and functional medicine to address the root causes of anxiety, depression, burnout, and mood instability. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, brain fog, and mood changes — especially during life transitions such as perimenopause, menopause, and periods of high stress. Rather than focusing only on symptom control, I explore how nutrition, metabolism, hormones, sleep, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle factors influence mental well-being. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that helps you feel more balanced, resilient, and like yourself again.

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on the whole person. I view mental health through a mind–body lens, recognizing that mood and anxiety are influenced by stress, sleep, nutrition, hormones, metabolism, genetics, and nervous system health. I listen carefully to understand what is contributing to symptoms and create individualized care plans. For some, medication is helpful. For others, we focus on evidence-based lifestyle, nutritional, and metabolic strategies. Most often, care includes a thoughtful combination of both.
Who I Help Best
I frequently support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, brain fog, sleep difficulties, and mood changes. I also work with women navigating perimenopause and midlife transitions, as well as high-functioning professionals who feel stuck despite outward success.
What a First Session Is Like
During the first session, we move at a comfortable pace and focus on getting to know you and what has been going on. I’ll ask about your previous medical history, current symptoms, stressors, sleep, lifestyle, and any factors that may be affecting your mental and physical well-being. Together, we’ll begin to identify patterns and discuss what may be contributing to how you’re feeling. We’ll review treatment options, which may include medication, lifestyle and nutritional strategies, or an integrative approach tailored to your needs.
