License #: 204587I’m Ashley Marie, founder of Attuned Hearts Counseling, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the state of Texas. I consider it a sacred privilege to walk with couples and individuals as they find healing and learn to connect deeply with themselves and others. Outside of the therapy space, I’m a wife, a mom to both human kids & fur-kids (dogs), an ADHDer, and a yoga instructor. One of my favorite things is continuing education. I am obsessive about trainings and keeping up on the latest research. In addition to being slightly obsessed with becoming the very best therapist possible for my clients, I enjoy time with my family, the ocean, running, yoga, and all things theatre arts.

I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and use EFT, which comes from Attachment Science, with all my clients.
Who I Help Best
I help committed couples, especially when one or both partners has ADHD, who are experiencing disconnection so they can create secure attachment. I am very comfortable working with couples experiencing sexual difficulties and also have significant experience working with grief.
What a First Session Is Like
For couples, our first session is me asking questions about the relational dynamics to ensure couples therapy is appropriate. The second and third sessions will be done one on one so I can take a deeper attachment history for each partner since the messages we get growing up impact our adult relationships. Then in session number four, both partners will be back together with me as we begin to track the negative cycle that is keeping you stuck in disconnection. For individuals, this is goal dependent, but I'll still usually start by taking an attachment history and asking questions to best understand how I can support you reaching your goals.
