I strongly believe that you already have everything you need to heal already within you, but it is my job to help you connect with those parts of yourself and walk alongside you during this journey. I went to University of Arkansas for my undergraduate degree and received a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Woman’s University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. My background includes working with adolescents and adults at higher levels of care, and I have been working in the mental health field for the last 6 years. I am also wrapping up my CEDS (certified eating disorder specialist) certification through IADEP (International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals).
My Therapeutic Approach
I approach therapy by looking at clients through a holistic lens in order to create space for growth in all different areas of their lives. When a client steps into my office, my ultimate goal is for them to feel safe and cultivate more awareness than what they walked in with. I believe that there is not a one-size fits all approach to therapy, so I take an eclectic approach with my clients in order to figure out what techniques and interventions meet their needs.

Our first few sessions are all about building a relationship and getting on the same page. We'll chat about what brings you in and what you'd like to get out of our time together. There’s absolutely no pressure, though—we’ll go at your pace, and you only share what you're ready to share."
