My Therapeutic Approach
My practice is built on psychological principles that promote resilience - resilience from early life experiences, ongoing stress, and internal struggles. I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT, and humanistic therapy to create a plan that helps you reconnect with your strength and focus your energy on living a life that feels true to you.
Who I Help Best
The clients I work best with are those ready to seriously and deeply engage in the process of growth. This process is not easy. It requires a commitment to change, a commitment to the uncomfortable, and a commitment to yourself. While the change process requires much, the benefits you will gain far outweigh the effort you put into it. In our work, we will address psychological distress while also strengthening the skills and traits that make you who you are. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, therapy becomes a space to confront internal and external barriers and cultivate lasting change.
What a First Session Is Like
I believe we are all innately designed to seek purpose and meaning. Some find it with ease, others walk a longer road. My purpose is to support those still searching, to help them reconnect with their inner strength, find clarity, and move toward a life that feels true and whole. The first session together is to ensure that we both mutually agree that this is a reasonable approach.
