About Lauren
License #: AP132273I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and have been practicing since 2016. I've owned my growing mental health practice Premier Mental Health and Wellness since 2020. While my experience in mental health treatment is vast, my specialty over time has shifted to working with high-functioning professionals experiencing burnout, ADHD, anxiety, and the unique challenges faced by women balancing significant personal and professional responsibilities. As a career driven single mom and business owner, I understand the demands of balancing a demanding career with the realities of everyday life. This experience has shaped my approach for both men and women- grounded, practical, and deeply attuned to the real pressures many of my patients are navigating. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time and traveling with my son, dogs (Cooper and Ravenclaw) and cat (Rocky). I also enjoy eating good food, Sudoku, chess, reading, and finding time to recharge in nature- whether that’s hiking or relaxing at the beach.

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual. I integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with medication management when appropriate, recognizing that meaningful progress often comes from addressing both the psychological and biological aspects of mental health. I take the time to understand the full context of your experience- including your lifestyle, stressors, patterns, and strengths so that treatment is not only effective, but also sustainable. Sessions are intentional and unhurried, creating space for insight, reflection, and practical problem-solving. For many of the individuals I work with, the goal is not just symptom relief, but improved clarity, focus, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of balance in daily life. Together, we identify what is contributing to how you’re feeling and develop strategies that can be applied in real, meaningful ways. My style is warm, direct, and compassionate. I value transparency, collaboration, and helping you feel both supported and empowered throughout the process.
Who I Help Best
I work best with high-performing individuals who are used to managing significant responsibilities- professionally, personally, and mentally- but are beginning to feel the strain of sustaining it all. My clients are often insightful, driven, and capable, yet find themselves overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from how they want to feel. I also work closely with women navigating the complex intersection of ambition, responsibility, and well-being, including burnout, chronic stress, and life-stage transitions that affect mood and energy.
What a First Session Is Like
At your first session, we’ll have a full 60-90 minutes to thoughtfully explore what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to change or better understand. Since my approach integrates psychotherapy with medication management (when appropriate), I’ll also ask about your personal and family medical, mental health, and social history to gain a comprehensive understanding of your background and and how it may impact your current concerns. My office space is intentionally designed to promote comfort, with a strong emphasis on privacy, so you feel at ease being open and vulnerable. We’ll focus on what matters most to you, and begin identifying goals together. Sessions are unhurried and designed to create a comfortable space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. From there, we’ll collaborate on a personalized treatment plan and begin developing practical strategies you can start using right away. The goal is not just short-term relief, but meaningful, lasting change that aligns with how you want to feel and function in your life. Self pay rates: 60-minute initial evaluation $325 | 90-minute initial evaluation $450 | 30-minute follow up $175 | 60-minute follow up $350 | The rate listed under the “Session Rate” section reflects a standard 30-minute follow-up.
