Welcome—I'm glad you're here. If you’ve been feeling like you’re holding your breath—just getting by, waiting for things to settle—you’re not alone. Sometimes, life after stress or trauma can feel like you’ve stopped fully breathing it in. This may be the moment to begin again—with intention, with support, and at your own pace. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist offering secure virtual and in-person therapy for children, teens, and adults. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I’m here to support you in a way that fits your life. I have a strong clinical focus in working with trauma survivors, including those living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also offer EMDR therapy, a powerful, research-backed approach to healing trauma, distressing memories, and emotional overwhelm. I believe every person—no matter their age—has the capacity to heal, adapt, and thrive. When working with children and teens, I recognize the importance of family dynamics and often involve parents in the therapeutic process to support lasting change. Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether you're navigating anxiety, past trauma, depression, relationship stress, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself. Whatever you're carrying, you don’t have to face it alone. Let’s begin—gently, virtually, and with room to breathe again.

My Therapeutic Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. My areas of clinical competence include individual counseling, play therapy, family counseling, mediation, and EMDR. I believe clients have the innate capacity to resolve their own problems and make empowered decisions when offered skilled guidance and support. As a counselor, I strive to create a safe and encouraging space—one that allows for healing, growth, and even the simple but profound act of learning to breathe again. I want my practice to be a place where you can let out a deep breath you didn’t know you were holding. My goal is to help clients blossom into greater self-awareness, self-confidence, independence, and emotional resilience as they navigate life’s complex challenges. I aim to be the kind of steady presence that helps people pause, reconnect, and begin moving forward with renewed strength. I have a special heart for individuals with trauma and PTSD, particularly children, as well as Veterans and First Responders. My therapeutic work is deeply informed by a trauma-sensitive lens and a commitment to compassion and respect. I offer compassionate, personalized support for individuals and families navigating a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.

What a First Session Is Like

I offer individual therapy for adults in a space that is calm, compassionate, and supportive. Through a trauma-informed approach, we’ll work together to explore the challenges you’re facing and uncover the strengths already within you. The Comfort of Virtual Therapy All sessions that are held virtually are done so that you can meet with me from the comfort and privacy of your own space. This allows for flexibility in your schedule, while still receiving deeply personal, connected care. Virtual therapy is HIPAA-compliant and confidential, and many clients find it easier to open up when they’re in a familiar, safe environment. In our work together, you’ll have space to: Understand and manage emotions Heal from trauma, grief, or life transitions Break free from negative self-beliefs Build healthy coping strategies Strengthen your relationships and communication Reconnect with your sense of self and direction Whether your challenges are recent or long-standing, therapy can be a place to breathe, reflect, and grow.
