My Therapeutic Approach
My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with art therapy and creative expression. CBT helps identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns, while art therapy provides a creative and reflective way to explore emotions that may be difficult to express with words alone. No artistic experience is required! The focus is on insight and self-understanding, not creating perfect artwork.

What a First Session Is Like
In the first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your goals for counseling, and important aspects of your background so I can better understand your experiences. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process and my approach. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and where we can begin identifying the areas you would like to work on moving forward.
