About Amanda
License #: 206267I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping couples, parents, teens and families create deeper connections, solve problems effectively, and build more resilient relationships. I draw experience from my professional knowledge and personal life as a mother of four children. I believe that all relationships matter. Relationships with your partner, children, extended family, peers and yourself need attention and thoughtful care. I believe in the ability each individual has to grow more meaningful connections.

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Attachment Theory, and Family Systems — practical, evidence-based frameworks that help you find your strengths, change negative cycles of interaction, and move forward with hope and confidence. With young clients I incorporate play, games, art and sensory activities allowing for their developmental stage to guide our work.
Who I Help Best
I work with couples, family groups and individuals who are struggling with the relationships in their life. I believe therapy should be clear, collaborative and goal-oriented. We will focus on how you want things to be different and come up with solutions you can begin using in the first session.
What a First Session Is Like
In the first session I will learn about your unique life and experiences. Therapy isn't something done to you, it is something we create together. We will set goals together that feel important to you. My role is to support you as you build authentic connections with yourself and those in your life.
