My Therapeutic Approach
Aspen takes an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy that blends narrative therapy, somatic work, and solution-focused frameworks. She has completed Gottman Level One Method Couples Therapy training and is a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, equipping her with practical, evidence-based tools to support couples in strengthening connection and communication. Aspen has also completed specialized training in Postpartum Depression and Related Disorders. Her work is collaborative and adaptable, often supported by additional resources such as books and visual tools to help clients deepen insight and apply skills outside of sessions.
Who I Help Best
I work best with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating stressful, tender, or transitional seasons of life. This often includes individuals finding themselves in a new season, whether that’s navigating job changes, identity shifts, or feeling a bit lost while trying to figure out what comes next. I also support those facing infertility, growing a family, choosing to be child-free, and managing the emotional and relational stress that can come with parenting. Additionally, I work closely with couples navigating complex dynamics, communication challenges, and moments of disconnection. My approach offers a thoughtful, collaborative space to slow down, make sense of experiences, and build more connected, grounded ways of moving forward.
What a First Session Is Like
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you, gathering background and history, while also focusing on connecting with you as a whole person. From there, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin taking intentional, thoughtful steps toward what you hope to change or understand. Deeper processing takes time, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. Throughout the process, my priority is helping you feel supported, capable, and grounded every step of the way.
