About Musenge
License #: 1260 and 3592Welcome. Wherever you find yourself on your path today, whether weary, seeking, unraveling, or ready for renewal,I am glad you are here! Therapy is not about being fixed, evaluated, or forced into someone else's idea of wellness. It is a collaborative homecoming. In our time together, I invite every layer of who you are into the room: your laughter, your grief, your protective armor, and the quiet longings you haven't yet found words for. There is no urgency here; we will always move at the organic, respectful pace of your own nervous system. Whether you are seeking support as an individual, with a partner, or as part of a larger relationship dynamic, it would be my honor to walk alongside you. Lived Humanity as My Foundation My clinical work is inseparable from my own lived journey toward wholeness. As a Black, cisgender, neurodistinct, queer, first-generation, multicultural individual, and a parent to both biological and adoptive children, I know what it means to navigate complex identities, family systems, and cultural thresholds. I do not sit across from you as an untouchable expert reciting textbooks. I have walked through the tender, disorienting terrain of deep personal transformation myself. That lived reality informs the profound empathy, humility, and cultural reverence I bring to every session.
My Therapeutic Approach
Intersectional, Anti-Oppressive & Expansive Care Above all, I am committed to creating a container that is non-forceful, inherently liberating, and fiercely welcoming: All Bodies & Identities Honored: Dedicated to anti-oppressive, intersectional, and decolonizing frameworks that validate how systemic harm impacts mental well-being. Affirming All Love Systems: Welcoming and experienced in working with consensual non-monogamy (CNM), polyamory, kink-affirming dynamics, and queer relationships. Integrative & Somatic Depth: Seamlessly weaving together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy, Brainspotting, outdoor ecotherapy, and psychedelic-assisted integration to help you heal where words alone fall short. Whether you are seeking support as an individual, with a partner, or as part of a larger relationship dynamic, it would be my honor to walk alongside you.
Who I Help Best
I provide an integrative, neuro-somatic, and relational therapeutic home for adults navigating pivotal life transitions, complex trauma, and the cumulative exhaustion of modern burnout. My practice deeply centers marginalized, queer, trans, gender-expansive, and BIPOC communities through an intersectional, anti-oppressive, and decolonizing framework. I welcome partners across all relational architectures—including monogamous couples, consensual non-monogamy (CNM), polyamory, and kink-affirming dynamics—seeking to soften defensive armor, heal attachment ruptures, and rebuild enduring goodwill. A significant portion of my clinical focus is dedicated to caregivers, bodyworkers, and fellow mental health clinicians who spend their lives holding space for others and need a restorative container to tend to their own nervous systems. Rather than relying solely on traditional cognitive talk therapy, my work directly addresses the "body confusion" that occurs when the mind understands the source of pain, but the nervous system remains trapped in cycles of fight, flight, or freeze. I work with individuals and partnerships wrestling with chronic stress, somatized grief, internal fragmentation, and neurophysiological blocks. Additionally, I support clients seeking intentional psychedelic preparation, navigation, and integration, alongside nature-based ecotherapy to heal environmental disconnection and restore nervous-system regulation.
What a First Session Is Like
Stepping into a first therapy session can carry both hope and nervous hesitation. Our initial time together is designed to be an unhurried, gentle landing—a space where you do not need to perform, have everything figured out, or brace for interrogation. Rather than diving straight into raw trauma or rushing to fix anything on day one, our primary focus is establishing safety, agency, and collaborative rapport. We move strictly at the pace of your nervous system, allowing you to settle in and sense whether this space and my clinical presence feel like the right home for your healing. We will begin by exploring what brought you through the door, what your daily life and relationships feel like right now, and the hopes or intentions you carry for our work. I will introduce how we might weave together somatic awareness, parts work (IFS), and neuro-informed tools, but you are always in the driver’s seat regarding what we touch and when. You are welcome to share as much or as little of your story as feels comfortable; protective hesitation is honored here, never pushed past. We will also take time to walk through any logistical, scheduling, or practical questions you have, ensuring our container feels transparent and supportive. By the close of our session, my goal is for you to leave with a grounded sense of clarity, feeling genuinely seen in the fullness of your humanity, and equipped with a clear, collaborative roadmap for our path forward together.
