About Whitney
License #: 2897Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years in music publishing —working closely with songwriters eager to share their stories with the world. That chapter of my life taught me how deeply people want to be seen and heard, and how easy it is to lose yourself while meeting expectations, chasing success, or caring for others. My path into therapy grew from that realization. Today, I bring both my clinical training and real-world experience into the therapy room. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and grief/loss. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy works best when it’s a space where you don’t have to perform—where you can slow down, get curious, and reconnect with your own internal rhythm. Together, we explore patterns, build emotional insight, and develop tools that support meaningful, sustainable change.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is conversational, and tailored to the issue / client in the room. I use a mixture of Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Strength-Building / Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment therapies. In our work together, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental space. With curiosity, we will explore your patterns, strengths and challenges. We will balance deep reflection with practical tools for daily life. Sessions are guided by your goals and we will aim for overall improved emotional, relational, and mental health. My hope is this is a place where you can be fully yourself.
Who I Help Best
I work best with adults navigating life changes or relational conflict. I particularly like working with couples in conflict/infidelity, individuals navigating divorce adjustment, co-parenting, infertility, and grief/loss.
What a First Session Is Like
In our first session, we will get to know each other. I hope to get an understanding of why you're wanting therapy and what you hope to get out of it. It's okay if you don't know these answers yet! This is about getting all the information I can to help best explore the changes you are seeking.
