About Adam
License #: 1962I strive to become the best I can be in and out of the therapy room. I enjoy reading, singing, listening to music, working out at the gym, and exploring new ideas. Water sports, running/walking, and hiking are my outdoor activities of choice. Playing a board or strategy game with my friends and family are ways I stay connected and are what I look forward to after some time with myself. I am grateful to worship at St. Elizabeth Orthodox Christian Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On our journey, I want to help you gain more self-knowledge and channel your thoughts, emotions, and desires in a way that helps bring you to a place of greater wholeness and connection.

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is holistic and integrative, focusing on Attachment Theory, CBT, and Internal Family Systems which are evidence-based and shown to help individuals and couples find healing. Empathy, individualization, connectedness, ideation, intellection – I have the strength of seeing how your unique experience fits into the whole of your relationships. The stories that we share make sense when looking at a birds-eye-view of your experiences in life overall. My compassionate and empathetic stance can help guide you towards a greater quality of life. I want to individuals process their burdens and to heal. I yearn to help individuals to heal by helping them find clarity about who they are and what they are about, especially when there is pressure to conform, to develop coping skills to calm oneself down and self-soothe one’s own anxieties and not to over/under-react, and to tolerate discomfort for growth so hope can be fostered with resilience and integrity.
Who I Help Best
I help best those struggling with sex addiction and betrayal trauma. However, I also worked extensively with those struggling through depression, anxiety, couples going through distress, and life transitions.
What a First Session Is Like
A first session is me getting to know you and this will feel like a natural conversation that will be focused on what’s most heavy on your heart. But, it will be collaborative and experiential so as our relationship unfolds this will evolve and expand as we start to work through what’s bringing you in for therapy.
