About India
License #: 2236If a part of you is feeling intimidated by therapy and another part is trying to talk yourself out of needing it, you’re in good company. Before becoming a therapist, I sat in the client’s chair—both in individual and couples therapy. I’ve experienced firsthand the courage it takes to find the right therapist, to risk vulnerability with a stranger, and to start an unfamiliar process. But the reality is, when you have the right clinician, therapy should be the place where you finally feel safe enough to meet yourself.

My Therapeutic Approach
I have advanced level training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which is considered the gold standard for relationships. My approach is down to earth and collaborative. I don’t take sides, I don’t make you fill awkward silence, and I don’t pretend to know you better than you know yourself. I strive to be both the person who has read all the books you would never have time for, and the person you’d want to meet up with for coffee when life is going sideways. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s keeping you stuck, begin to change the way you see yourself (and/or your partner), and help you find your way to a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.
Who I Help Best
My speciality is relationships, whether that's helping an individual navigate complex family dynamics or a couple trying to overcome repetitive cycles of conflict. My ideal clients are highly motivated people who care to understand themselves and the people around them more deeply.
What a First Session Is Like
For a lot of people, it's their first time doing either individual or couples therapy, so it's normal to have questions about what's expected. The goal of that first session is for us to start to build a relationship and for you to feel like I understand the overarching issues you're navigating. My hope is that every new client walks out of the first session with a general sense of relief.
