My Therapeutic Approach

Utilizing CBT as a base. I look at the person as a whole. I am a specialized trauma therapist. I am EMDRIA Certified in EMDR. My practice also offers nutritional counseling and wellness serivces.

Who I Help Best

Over the years I have realized I can be the most effective working with client between the ages of 16 and 55 years old. I am a certified trauma professional with a specialty in Domestic or Intimate Partner Violence, but have worked with a wide range of individuals. I am trained in individual counseling. I have experience with couples counseling, but I am not a licensed marriage and family counseling. I work best with individuals in session.

What a First Session Is Like

During out first session, I will conduct an interview to gather information to see things on a big picture scale. This will lead me to see how I may be able to help in subsequent sessions. I am also a big believer in autonomy. I will aid in getting things going, but I like to promote assertiveness and self advocacy.
