About Maggie

License #: PC012364

I am a kooky, loving therapist who will most likely be a little late for sessions. I have been a therapist for ten years and am a nerd for it. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a Trauma Studies Concentration from Chestnut Hill University. I have a License as a Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.

My Therapeutic Approach

Who doesn't love a good quote? Here goes one of my favorites -- "The ultimate goal of therapy...it's too hard a question. The words come to me like tranquility, like fulfillment, like realizing your potential" -- Irvin Yalom (very smart man). For me, the greatest gift of this profession is that I get to help people in reaching their potential, and in order to do that, they need to feel safe. Safety is the first step and the most important step. Relational safety can help unlock negative cognitions that are stored deep within your mind and in your body. Let's get to work.
