Katherine came to be a therapist after she could not get enough of learning about psychology and philosophy in her undergraduate studies at Quinnipiac University. It was during her undergraduate years that she learned of dance/movement therapy and realized that there was a profession that incorporated her long-term love of dance with her new found love of psychology. It was not a surprise to anyone near to her that she landed on this path, and it felt natural to pursue mental health counseling and how movement can be incorporated into healing. Katherine furthered her studies through graduate school at Lesley University where she received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy. Katherine has a diverse background in mental health care that includes emergency psychiatric care, residential treatment at a center for eating disorders, and outpatient therapy clinics. It is through her education and experience that she is able to provide her clients with comprehensive mental health care.
