I have over 20 years of experience working in mental health and social services. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and depression, and have advanced training and am certified in EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). I have worked in several foreign countries in social services and with the military. I completed a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology/Biology at Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Science Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington.

This is a Physician-led practice with a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Kennedy completed medical school and psychiatry residency training - the highest level of medical expertise in mental health. She is trained and experienced in performing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and treatment, for conditions such as anxiety and depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, panic disorder, trauma-related symptoms; evaluations and diagnosis of psychotic episodes; medication management, assessment of side effects and medication interactions, as well as deprescribing with close monitoring, when appropriate. Appointments available within 1-2 weeks with fast response to inquiries. We are in-network with major insurance carriers, and accept private pay and out-of-network appointments. We provide with superbills for out-of-network patients who choose to seek reimbursement from their insurance.
