I am the the daughter of two immigrants from Brasil and Germany, and I deeply treasure being a blend of different cultures. Born in Mobile, Alabama, I grew up near the water and thus believe the ocean is the most magical place on earth. I love animals to my very core, I have more hobbies than hours in a day, and I get a real thrill from unsubscribing from emails. I take recycling veryyy seriously, and I have never said no to a glass of orange juice so long as it's not made from concentrate. And I've always loved a good story. I am captivated by human resilience and the stories that shape our lives. What began as a dream of becoming an investigative journalist turned into something deeper: not just telling stories but helping people reshape their own. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with degrees in psychology and journalism and became a Double Dawg when I got my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2012. I have over a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), guiding individuals, couples, and families through trauma, transitions, and challenges big and small. As a therapist, I am both a meticulous detangler of life's complications as well as a wholehearted cheerleader. I approach both therapy and life with compassion, curiosity, and hope.

I'm Dr. E, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I am also a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and a Certified Autplay Therapist. I provide affirming, personalized therapy for children, teens, adults, and couples. I use a strengths-based, collaborative approach to build insight, coping skills, and resilience. As a Certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, couples receive a first-session assessment to identify strengths and growth areas. My therapy is evidence-informed, culturally responsive, and supportive.

Lindsey Ann Nichols attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with an emphasis on health promotion and education. She continued her studies at Georgia State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later her Master of Science in Nursing. She is an advanced practice registered nurse and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lindsey began her career in primary care then moved to specialize in behavioral health in 2017. Her clinical background empowers her to use a holistic approach in patient care, by offering personalized treatment options that focus on the root causes of mental health concerns, and providing medication management for adults 17 years and older. She is passionate about the connection between mental health and physical well-being. Lindsey believes that both conventional and functional medicine approaches can be powerful tools for supporting mental health Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys traveling, being active outdoors, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family and friends. My name is Michael Venezia. I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. I began my career as a therapist in Huntsville 10 years ago and then moved to Atlanta 6 years ago to continue my counseling career. In my time here, I have engaged in intensive trainings for EMDR for my trauma clients as well as EFT for couples counseling. I have also completed trainings to incorporate IFS, DBT, Gottman, and other therapy models so that I could provide my clients with whatever therapy best suits their needs. When I was a child, my mother taught me a poem called “Children Learn What They Live.” It had a big influence on me – so much so that I knew at age 15 that I wanted to work with kids. Then, when I was 20, my brother died. I was a junior in college, coming home for Christmas break, when the unimaginable happened. That tragedy affected me profoundly, igniting a passion for turning life’s lemons into lemonade. So, I changed my major from education to psychology. I had a mission: to help people who are suffering but don’t know how to change it. After earning my undergraduate degree in psychology, I was accepted to the University of Florida Graduate College of Education. I decided to focus on mental health counseling because of my experiences with those struggling with mental health. Eventually, my family and I moved to Atlanta. There, I began counseling children, teens, and families, first in an inpatient and then in a partial-hospitalization setting. I became licensed as a Professional Counselor in Georgia; I was promoted to Lead Therapist and then to Program Manager. I later shifted my career to school counseling, and school became my home for 15 years! I honed my career counseling skills to guide my students through the most difficult part of life: high school. Outside the office… I’m married to the love of my life, and we’ve been blessed to have raised two daughters. We’re now empty-nesters, enjoying travel, nature, and activities with our dog, October.
