I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m originally from Montgomery, Alabama, and I’ve called Nashville home since 2018. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and later completed Belmont University’s accelerated nursing program. After graduating from Belmont, I worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where I cared for patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs. I went on to complete my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in psychiatric mental health, and now practice as a PMHNP. Outside of work, I’m a mother who loves spending time with my family, traveling, and expressing my creativity through hand embroidery.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life stressors. Prior to that, I worked as a Registered Nurse since 2015 in various settings, including the ER, crisis stabilization, and ICU. Before beginning my career as a nurse, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University. I remain committed to lifelong learning, always striving to stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.

I am currently offering in-person and online therapy (or teletherapy) to help make therapy accessible to as many people as possible. Online counseling is easy to access and just as effective as in-person therapy. Additionally, I am an approved supervisor for those in the state of Tennessee pursuing LPC/MHSP licensure.

After earning my masters in clinical social work from Columbia University I moved back to my home state of Massachusetts and now live in Tennessee. After 5+ years in acute psychiatric settings I now focus on individuals and families in a community setting.
